Lia Kali<\/strong> discovered music at home, and at the age of 16, she went to all the jams in the City of Barcelona<\/strong> riding her bicycle. It is at the jams where she meets many musicians and artists from the Barcelona scene and where she learns to dialogue with <\/span>reggae<\/i>, jazz<\/i>, soul<\/i> and rap<\/i><\/strong>. Since then, she has never stopped singing. She made the leap from jams to other stages with various projects, such as the tribute to Amy Winehouse and this is how her idyll with the stage is recorded: the stage is her natural space. With the pandemic and already tired of singing other people’s songs, the artist begins to write her own songs and discovers the healing that the process implies: this is how she begins to compose the soundtrack of the falls and stumbles of her day to day.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2022 she released a handful of singles that went viral on social media, but it wasn’t until the spring of 2023 that she released her highly anticipated debut ‘Contra Todo Pron\u00f3stico’<\/strong>, an album that in just a few months had already accumulated millions of streams and views on platforms and TikTok. Accompanied by her solid live instrumental trio, Lia Kali has performed the songs from her debut live on a tour of more than 50 dates with notable performances at major national festivals such as Vi\u00f1a Rock, Mar de M\u00fasicas or Cru\u00eflla<\/strong>, sold-out venues in the main Spanish capitals and international forays that include Colombia, Mexico, Central Park and LAMC in NYC-USA, France, Germany or Portugal. Lia Kali<\/strong> is one of the most sought-after voices on the urban scene at the moment, and with her first album and presentation tour, she has already made it clear that any label falls short.<\/span><\/p>\n
