Formed by a new generation of percussionists from our country, the group was born with the intention of presenting unique and innovative proposals, which include the most demanding works of the current repertoire, with maximum preparation and maximum respect for new compositional languages.<\/p>\n<p>Linked in its beginnings to <strong>Juventuts Musicals de Catalunya<\/strong> and to the <strong>ESMUC<\/strong>, the group collaborates regularly with L\u2019Auditori de Barcelona. Has participated in the Mixtur Festival, Fundaci\u00f3n Juan March, FiraT\u00e0rrega, Sism\u00f2graf Olot, MUTEK Barcelona, VANG de Madrid, Riverrun Festival in Albi, GREC Festival, and CNDM, among others.<\/p>\n<p>In the field of performing arts, FRAMES Percussion is responsible for the design and interpretation of the music for the show <em>5,100 (m\/s)<\/em> by <strong>Joan Catal\u00e0<\/strong> and <em>Desert<\/em> by <strong>Albert Quesada<\/strong>. In addition, he has also created the educational show <em>Out of the [CAGE]<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The FRAMES repertoire includes iconic works from the repertoire for percussion ensemble and premieres by composers such as <strong>Luis Codera Puzo, N\u00faria Gim\u00e9nez-Comas and Sirah Mart\u00ednez, Alberto Bernal, Meriel Price, Yukiko Watanabe, Cathy van Eck, Ruud Roelofsen, Montserrat Llad\u00f3, Helena C\u00e1novas, Manuel Rodr\u00edguez-Valenzuela or Pablo Carrascosa.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Frames Percussion, presenta l\u2019obra <a href=\"https:\/\/framespercussion.com\/projects\/desert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Timber<\/a> (2009) de <strong>Michael Gordon<\/strong> (1956-), una composici\u00f3 per a sis simandres, instruments de percussi\u00f3 utilitzats des del segle VI en monestirs cristians ortodoxos. A trav\u00e9s de canvis en la din\u00e0mica d&#8217;un instrument a un altre,\u00a0es crea un magma sonor constant de patrons ascendents i descendents que esborra qualsevol mena de discreci\u00f3 entre ells.
