Acclaimed as composers as well as instrumentalists, sharing multiple awards and seven albums as leaders between them, saxophonist Alex Hitchcock and guitarist Ant Law have created a startlingly vivid new soundworld in their trailblazing group Same Moon in the Same World.
The group will be exclusively previewing new music from their next ‘Same Moon In The Same World’ album before its release in 2026. This is cutting edge contemporary jazz from the leading lights on the scene.
This band takes its name from a line in Japanese author Haruki Murakami’s 1999 novel Sputnik Sweetheart: “we’re both looking at the same moon in the same world. We’re connected to reality by the same line.”
