Their music—a blend of electric jazz, deep funk, and psychedelic improvisation—pioneered new paths for exploring groove and creative freedom.
With an international career that includes collaborations with artists like Fatoumata Diawara and Andrea Motis, Smith approaches this repertoire with a deep stylistic affinity.
