Carlos Falanga is an Argentine drummer based in Barcelona. Since his time at Esmuc (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya) he has played with artists such as Jorge Rossy, Carme Canela, Horacio Fumero, Marco Mezquida, Orquesta Sinfónica del Liceu, Amparo Sánchez, and Bill McHenry. Since 2010 he has opened the weekly jam session at the Robadors 23 club alongside Miguel Villar and JP Balcazar.
He has released two albums as a leader: Gran Coral UnderPool and Quasar Fresh Sound Records New Talent, as well as several others with his electronic project IHHH. This time he will be performing with his trio alongside guitarist Jaume Llombart and Juan Pablo Balcazar on double bass, with plus the special partcipaton, performing a selection of standards and his favourite compositons.
