In 2016, the drummer from Burgos, Gonzalo del Val, moved to Dublin, where he developed his musical career over three years, collaborating with some of the most important musicians on the scene. From this experience, his album Tornaviaje was born. In this record, Gonzalo not only resumes his role as a composer but also carefully designs each composition, taking into account both the language and stylistic contributions of each band member.
This time for Es Claustre, he will present his compositions in a trio format, featuring the renowned and award-winning trumpeter Raynald Colom, who has worked alongside greats like Nicholas Payton, Greg Osby, and Chano Domínguez, and virtuoso double bassist Javier Callén, a key reference and one of the most promising figures of his generation.
